It's been almost a decade since George Palmer started out as a producer and riddim maker. Since the beginning there was a guy who motivated, inspired and taught reggae culture to George Palmer. This is Aaron D. Vinyl collector and Selector of Righteous Way sound.

Back in 2016, George made considerable progress in his productions, when he was still located in his first studio in San Sebastian. The studio was based there until 2020. That studio located at Pillotegi 8, was the place where a lot of experimentation and recordings were carried out, of which the major part of the projects done there have not seen the light until now. Many of them are so good and they deserve to be rescued, remixed and brought to light. “Deliver us” is one of them.

One day Aaron D told George Palmer to work on a cover of the classic Roots song "Jah Jah Deliver Us" by Keith Goode. Since he had found a girl in Andoain who really wanted to sing reggae. She's Amets and following Aaron D's recommendation, she studied the lyrics of Jah Jah Deliver Us, she practiced them and they went to George's studio to record. The rest is history.

Amets gave a very good performance, especially considering that it was her first and only recording so far, at least of reggae music. Also in the session was Tony Island (the other member of Righteous Way Sound) who recorded some percussion and something very unusual is that Tony himself also recorded a backing vocal track.

Now the song has been composed again by George Palmer. Applying many layers of work to give it a fresh and modern touch that obviously denotes the enormous evolution of his sound. The original recording was mixed but never released because in George's opinion it could still be improved. This current version is the definitive version in a 2023 vanguard style of the sound system. This version still retains a few tracks from the original recording such as percussion and backing vocals.
