"Back to the Roots" is the new meeting between the producer Lo-End Dub and the singer George Palmer. This time they present a showcase composed by 5 songs and 5 dubs. A good selection of rhythms and harmonies with a taste of roots and rub a dub from the 80's.

The album is produced by Fernando Izquierdo 'Lo-End Dub', who has composed all the rhythms for George Palmer, who performs his lyrics and his message on them. This songs are 100% original productions that have been created to Dub from the first moment. This showcase takes us back to the roots and early dancehall time, to the late 70s and early 80s in Jamaica, reminding us productions of big names of the Foundation of dub like King Tubbys, Prince Jammys, Lee Perry, Bunny Lee, Augustus Pablo, Sugar Minott ... with artists like Tristan Palmer, Barry Brown, Horace Andy ...

The instrumental part is also provided by Lo-End Dub itself, supported by the percussionist from Tacumah Reggae Band (Donosti) Human Selekta a.k.a Toni Island. In this way they work to maintain the essence of the music of decades ago, with the power and quality of today. Once mixed, the project was processed through analog tape (reel to reel) with the engineer Chalart58 to give that analogue touch and a vintage sound to the tracks, which Jimmie Dub Troubles was commissioned to master.

“Back to the Roots” es el primer resultado del encuentro entre el productor Lo-End Dub y el artista George Palmer. En esta ocasión presentan este showcase compuesto por 5 temas y sus correspondientes 5 dubs. Una variada selección de ritmos y armonías con sabor roots y rub a dub de la época de los 80.

La producción corre a cargo de Fernando Izquierdo ‘Lo-End Dub’, quien ha compuesto todos los ritmos a medida para que George Palmer interprete sus líricas y su mensaje. Tratándose de producciones 100% originales que han sido enfocadas al Dub desde el primer momento, este showcase nos hace volver a las épocas del roots y early dancehall de finales de los 70 y principios de los 80 en Jamaica, recordándonos a producciones de King Tubbys, Prince Jammys, Bunny Lee, Augustus Pablo, Sugar Minott... con artistas como Tristan Palmer, Barry Brown, Horace Andy…

La parte instrumental también corre a cargo del propio Lo-End Dub, apoyado por el percusionista procedente de Tacumah Reggae Band (Donosti) Human Selekta a.k.a Toni Island. De esta manera trabajan para mantener la esencia de la música de hace décadas, con la potencia y calidad de hoy en día. Una vez mezclado, el proyecto fue procesado a través de cinta analógica (reel to reel) con el ingeniero Chalart58 para darle ese toque analógico y un sonido vintage, que Jimmie Dub Troubles se encargó de masterizar.

El Lanzamiento oficial será en Abril del 2018 en las mejores plataformas digitales (iTunes, Amazon, Spotify…) y en formato CD.
